What is Google Page Rank?

When someone put query for specific kind of search, the results that search engine comes up with, contains all the relevant, high quality and best possible results. These relevant results are driven through the Google PageRank, which is one of the tools which help Google to determine whether the information upon a keyword on web page is relevant or not.

Google PageRank (PR) is an algorithm analysis of links, usually used by Google. It helps in the determination of importance and relativity of a website.

There is a score that given by Google to every website ranges from 0 to 10 on a scale of exponential. Which means Google PageRank is the only factor of Google algorithm of Ranking. So, it is more important to remember that the high PageRank cannot guarantee the ranking is high, but it significantly helps.

Introduction to “Link Juice” & PageRank Points

When there is a link of any relevant website is there on your page, Google determines that website link as endorsing or casting a vote for your web page. In order to draw better results and conclusions, Google takes all of these link votes into consideration. Which shows the relevance of that individual webpage and your website collectively. And that is the basic concept behind PageRank.

When you link any website to your page or provide a link to any website internally from your page, the link passes and increase the PageRank points. The process of passing of points of PageRank is also called “Link Juice” transfer.

There are two things on which this link juice transfer depends up:
1. The number of points of PageRank on the hosting link of webpage
2. The number in total of the links on you webpage passing PageRank.

Google give every website a score ranges from 1 to 10 and the points of each page accumulates through the inbound link value (which should be high though). For example, the web pages on a powerful and most weighty and major websites can pass the link juice points in triple figure of more. Google concise and uses a lot of mathematics to keep the rating system more efficient.

How to Pass Link Juice?

There is a limited amount link juice for every webpage that it can pass. Which means that the maximum of this limit is the total of PageRank points that page has reached. So, let say, if a page has accrued 20 PageRank points then it will not be able to pass more than 20 point over link juice for per page. But IF a web page with 20 points of PageRank links to 5 different webpages not matter internal or external, each of the link will help to convert the link juice in 1 over 5th amount of the points to the other web page. The formula in order to divide the PR points is, PR points divided by the number of pages on links on page.

You can even help Google to take a look at your website by linking up your own important pages links from the articles related to that. For example, if there is an article on your website about Keyword research, you can reinforce to Goof for the relevant material of this page with the help of a phrase “How to do keyword research” by linking the article with the help of research tool.

This is the brief introduction of PageRank (PR). So make sure that you’re applying these methods on your webpage in order to get the better results on Google.
